Interior of the Queen's Office

The Office gathers, classifies and analyses data on topical subjects that may be of importance to the Queen in her meetings with Dutch and foreign dignitaries. It also prepares the Queen's state and working visits in cooperation with the Royal Household.

Appointments for meetings between the Queen and ministers, state secretaries (junior ministers), Queen’s Commissioners in the provinces and other Dutch and foreign dignitaries are made through the Office.

The Office publishes communiqués through the Government Information Service on the progress made in forming governments. It also prepares the swearing-in by the Queen of ministers and state secretaries.
