Chairs by Struik

The Dutch coat of armsThe chairs by the nineteenth-century cabinetmaker Struik may have been used during meetings of the Cabinet. The Dutch coat of arms, with the motto Concordia Res Parvae Crescunt (Through harmony small things grow), was re-embroidered in 1990, after the outline of the original embroidery was revealed following the removal of the upholstery.
