Mr P.W.A. Schellekens has been director of the Queen’s Office since 2006. He has direct contact with the Queen, ministers and other dignitaries and is the civil servant in charge of the Office. The director is appointed and dismissed by Royal Decree. Candidates for appointment are nominated by the Prime Minister.
